It is widely known that the recently released KGF 2 has created mammoth records in many territories in India. The film is performing beyond imagination in the North circuits. KGF 2 overtook Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which collected more than Rs 350 crore in its lifetime in just two weeks. Now, officially, KGF2 is at the second spot after the mighty Baahubali 2 at the Bollywood box office.

Veteran Bollywood Analyst cum Business Transformation Expert Hirav Shah says, “Rocking Star Yash’s KGF Chapter 2 is still not done shattering box office records worldwide. In 30 days, the action drama has entered the prestigious Rs 1200 crore club worldwide. KGF: Chapter is the third highest grossing Indian film after Aamir Khan’s Dangal and SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion. The action drama, directed by Prashanth Neel, is enjoying a cult status across the globe.”

Hirav adds, “As many Bollywood biggies are set to release this year, which film will beat the records created by KGF 2 at the Hindi box office, is now the main topic of discussion among the film circles.”

Laal Singh Chaddha

Usually, Aamir Khan’s movies will always take a bumper opening at the box office. Though the actor’s previous outing, Thugs Of Hindostan, was a box office disaster, it created the first-day record by collecting more than Rs 50 crore. Even the actor’s last few releases have done exceptionally well at the box office. So, it is obvious to keep expectations on Laal Singh Chaddha that it will be a big hit.

Brahmastra

The pre-release buzz for Brahmastra isn’t great, but the lead pair, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor became a real life couple by tying the knot, the expectations mounted on Brahmastra’s first part: Shiva. The film is slated to hit the screens on September 9 and has not a chance to beat KGF2 records but it can be a good hit film.

It is widely known that Hrithik Roshan’s last release, War, took a bumper opening of Rs. 53 crore and the gap between War and KGF 2 is just a few lakhs. Now, it won’t be a surprising element if Vikram Vedha, starring Hrithik and Saif Ali Khan, can be a good hit at the box office. The film is scheduled for a September 30, 2022 release.

Dunki

Actor Shah Rukh Khan has announced a new film Dunki to be directed by Rajkumar Hirani, known for hits such as Sanju, PK, 3 Idiots, and the Munnabhai series. Co-starring Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and Vicky Kaushal and to be produced by Red Chillies Production, it is slated for theatrical release on December 22, 2023.
