The most talked about Indian Reality Show, Shark Tank India Season 1 was the Indian franchise of “Shark Tank”, the American show. It aired on SET India and it became the most popular Indian business reality television series till date. It premiered from 20 December 2021 to 4 February 2022 and more Seasons are being planned too, in times to come.

Conceptualization Of Shark Tank India:

Sony Entertainment Television brought the long-running show to India with its Indianised version, “Shark Tank India”, and aired the first of 30 episodes with the promise of seven “sharks”, from Monday through Friday at 9 pm and the televised replay at 11:30 pm.

The series received 62,000 applicants from the Country, out of which 198 were selected to pitch their ideas to the “sharks”, as per the channel. In a nutshell, it showed entrepreneurs making business presentations to a panel of seven investors, who decide whether to invest in their start-ups or not.
