Shah adds, “Like every year, 2022 will also see the rise of several fresh-faced newbies hoping to carve a niche for themselves in Bollywood. Here’s a look at a few Youngest Bollywood actresses in 2022.”
1) Tara Sutaria
Actor, singer, and dancer, the multi-talented Tara Sutaira started her career as a child artist with Disney’s sitcoms. Not just that, she is also a professional singer since the age of seven and has sung in operas and numerous competitions. This 25-year-old beautiful girl made her Bollywood debut with Dharma Productions Student of the Year 2 in 2019. The film co-stars Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey and Aditya Seal. Later, Tara Sutaria was then seen in Marjaavan alongside Sidharth Malhotra, where she played the role of a mute person. This talented beauty has Heropanti 2, and Ek Villain Returns in the pipeline.
2) Sanjana Sanghi
Sanjana Sanghi started her career as a child artist with Imtiaz Ali’s masterpiece, Rockstar, in which she played the role of heroine Nargis Fakri’s younger sister. Sanjana was even seen in cameo roles in Hindi Medium and Fukrey Returns. With 2020 released Mukesh Chabra’s Dil Bechara, Sanjana Sanghi made her debut as the lead actress opposite late Sushant Singh Rajput. Currently, Sanjana Sanghi is playing the female lead in Om: The Battle Within opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. Apart from acting in films, the 24-year-old girl has also appeared in many advertisements for brands like Coca-Cola, Cadbury, and Tanishq.
3) Manushi Chhillar
At a very young age, Manushi Chhillar has achieved much-needed fame. The 24-year-old first represented Haryana in Femina Miss India 2017 and won; she then went on to represent the country at the Miss World pageant and won at the age of 20. During her journey, she supported many important causes like creating social awareness about World Menstrual Hygiene Day and expanding Project Shakti, an awareness program on HIV/AIDS. Now, she is making her Bollywood debut with the historical drama Prithviraj, along with Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt.
4) Janhvi Kapoor
Being the elder daughter of late actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor made her acting debut in 2018 with Shashank Khaitan’s romantic drama Dhadak, opposite Ishaan Khattar. Later, the 24 years old Janhvi Kapoor was also seen in Roohi, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, and Ghost Stories. Janhvi will next be seen in the sequel of popular rom-com Dostana. The way she carries modern and traditional outfits are major fashion goals for young ladies.
5) Alaya Furniturewala
Alaya Furniturewala is the daughter of actress Pooja Bedi and the granddaughter of veteran actor Kabir Bedi. Born in 1997, Aalaya is just a film old but got much-needed fame with her Instagram posts. After doing a key role in Jawaani Jaaneman alongside Saif Ali Khan and Tabu, Alaya has a couple of projects in the pipeline. For her acting in Jawaani Jaaneman, Alaya won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Her immediate project will be Freddy opposite Kartik Aaryan.
6) Ananya Pandey
Anaya Pandey is just 22 years old, but she has grabbed everyone’s attention with her looks. Ananya Pandey started her career in 2019 with Dharma Productions, Student of the Year 2, and won the Filmfare Best Debut. Later, she played the main lead in romantic-comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh. Ananya also played the female lead in Khaali Peehli alongside Ishaan Khattar and will be seen in Shakun Batra’s next. She also has Vijay Deverakonda’s pan-India Liger in the pipeline. Ananya Pandey’s new film, Gehraiyaan opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi, is slated for a direct-to-OTT release on Amazon Prime Video on February 11th.
