We all know that King Kohli decided to resign as India’s skipper in the T20Is post the T20 World Cup. The fans were shocked. The world got shocked. Further, Virat Kohli gave a double shock to his fans by announcing yet another resignation. Kohli added he would step down from RCB’s captaincy after the current season but will continue playing for the franchise as long as he can…

As the celebrated superstar Cricketer moves away from his role, it certainly becomes a topic of prime importance as to who will captain RCB now? As IPL 2022 will also see mega auctions ahead of it, a lot of incoming and outgoing players would be observed, and here stand a few players who can lead RCB in the next season- Lists Renowned Sports Strategist, Advisor, Business Astrologer, Hirav Shah.

1. AB de Villiers (Choice Number 4)

De Villiers is the one for RCB. There are few names who always remain synonymous to the franchises and the South African superstar is certainly one.

De Villiers was born on 17 February, 1984. He is into 38th year of life.

Being a match winner for years together, the stunning batsman has done just a commendable job for RCB.

Apart from being a run scorer and hard hitter, he stands to be one of the most experienced players of the squad, who shares a great bond with the current skipper too. If Kohli has decided to step down, there cannot be a better person than AB to handle the team.

Having the experience of captaining his national team across formats, the call of the management to give ruins of the team to AB would absolutely be on point.

2. Suryakumar Yadav (3rd Choice)

Suryakumar was born on 14 September, 1990. He is into his 32nd year.

With his absolute dedication, determination and devotion, if there is one man who has been turning his fortunes, it has to be none other than Suryakumar Yadav. From making India’s debut to getting a call from the T20 World Cup, his career is in the best phase possible !

SKY has started getting his rightful chances, after making a stunning case for himself in the consecutive years of IPL with MI.

But anyway, the star-studded lot of MI has a lot of players to retain ahead of SKY and it may result in the batsman moving away from the team.

If that happens, if…

Then, RCB can really root for the Mumbai batsman and give him an opportunity to be the captain. He has enough batting experience under his belt and would be keen on taking up a new challenge with all his drive, in the next season.

3.Quinton de Kock (Choice Number 2)- Here comes a surprise !!

Guess who? Yes, De Kock.

Quinton de Kock was born on 17 December, 1992. He is into his 29th year and he will enter 30th year of life when the 2022 IPL new season is played.

De Kock has been one of the main men of Mumbai’s squad for quite some time but as the mega auction approaches, the team will be sitting with tight hands.

There is a high possibility that he can be roped in by RCB for handling their captaincy roles. Having led his national team in the past, the wicket keeping-batsman still has a lot to offer in the IPL.

So, let’s wait and watch…

4.Devdutt Padikkal (First Choice)

Devdutt was born on 7 July 2000. He is into his 22nd year. He is a number 7 person.

Young Devdutt Padikkal’s name stands tall, if we talk of some of the premier batsmen of the present. For the last two years he has been doing, literally wonders for the team. The idea of captaincy might come out as a fruitful decision for RCB.

He has been absolutely sensational with the bat and with veteran players around him, he might not face issues while taking the charge of the team. So, watch out for this young talented Cricketer !!

Final Thoughts

IPL is a grand platform where young talents are given their full share of opportunities as well as responsibilities. Many young men lead their teams and keeping in mind the future prospects of RCB, these above-mentioned men can go a long way with them- Opines Sports Astrologer, Hirav Shah.

Meanwhile, Bangalore had a horror resumption of their campaign as they were bowled out for just 92 against Kolkata Knight Riders in their first game of the UAE leg of IPL 2021.

But, no worries…it’s just a part of the game- Hirav Shah Concludes.
