IPL is already moving into the playoff stage. The squads have given their best too. Like 2020, the playoffs spots were filled at the end of the final league game. This 14th edition too, so many memorable moments were gifted to the Cricket fans.

Overall Performances of Delhi Capitals

Mumbai Indians are dead and gone, we all know that…It is now out of the tournament. The mammoth task of winning the match against SRH by a margin of 171 runs was practically not possible. But, they managed to win over them, thanks to Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav’s spectacular knocks, explains Hirav Shah.

RR, as usual, failed to maintain stability and steadiness and PBKS lost matches they should have won.

CSK has somehow lost the strength and drive too, as they have lost three consecutive games. Adding on, RCB have been extremely good in terms of results. DC has shown incredible performance too.

As usual, India’s most influential Sports Strategist, Advisor and Astrologer Hirav Shah does a SWOT analysis of Delhi Capitals, whose performance has been growing and glowing.

Strengths of Delhi Capitals in IPL 2021

Prithvi Shaw, yes this man has been a constant strength for the squad. He has finally found his mojo this IPL. Although his second leg of the IPL has been a bit bland, he has done enough for DC. This is mainly because of his strike rate, says Hirav Shah.

Opener Shikhar Dhawan is another man, who has also been one of the top performers for DC.

Also their bowling attack has been wonderful, always. The fast bowling trio of Avesh Khan, Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje has been sensational with the ball in this season, too.

Apart from pacers, Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin have also performed well and picked up crucial wickets for the squad, says Hirav.

Weaknesses of Delhi Capitals in IPL 2021

Lalit Yadav. Yes, you heard it right.

Not due to his bowl, but due to his batting. He has been scoring at a strike rate of just 93.15, being a middle order batsman. There is no point in playing Lalit actually, as Delhi’s middle-order already has the services of Iyer.

Next weakness is the so-called “inconsistency”.
Indeed…
Rishabh Pant, Shimron Hetmyer and Shreyas Iyer Aka the middle-order batting have been terribly inconsistent, in this season of IPL 2021.

The trio have failed to capitalise on the opportunities given and score big for the squad.

Something which is also affecting them, is
Marcus Stoinis’ absence. As we know the man is injured, hence there is literally nobody who can finish big in death overs.

Opportunities for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2021

Literally, every match is an opportunity and DC has made proper use of the opportunity given.

Right from the start, Delhi Capitals officially gave Rishabh Pant the opportunity to captain the squad and he has done pretty well if we look at the points table.

Delhi is quite a young side and they usually field well, so they leave no room for fielding mistakes.

In a nutshell, the team is sharp and focussed and they know when, how and where to use the opportunities, explains Hirav Shah.

Threats for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2021

Injury is the biggest threat.
Muscle Cramps could also be a big threat.

Though the team is by far the best, there can be over-confidence, which should be a strict “No No”, as per Hirav Shah, India’s Famous Sports Strategist, Advisor and Astrologer.

Lack of focus can also be a threat.
Meanwhile, rules such as, “No mingling with other guests of the hotel and No unscheduled visits from family members” can help players focus on their game.

The team fields well but in a few matches, there were a few fielding glitches, and those can certainly be avoided in future.

Bottomline

DC could arguably be the best IPL team(as per IPL standings), of this season. And there is certainly a big lesson to learn from DC. And this is for all entrepreneurs and businessmen.

It is important to understand that not all pitches, i.e. businesses, markets etc. are alike. So, an approach that has worked in one case may not work in another scenario .

So, instead of giving up, we must welcome challenges and formulate ways to solve problems/ issues/ difficulties dynamically-Concludes Hirav Shah.
