Each year, the Indian Premier League brings an opportunity for cricketers to showcase their talent in the world’s most difficult T20 league. The opportunity also comes with massive pressure to perform, with the entire planet keeping a close eye. While many had delivered superlative performances, there were some players who failed to rise as per expectations.

Sports Astrologer of International Repute Hirav Shah shares IPL 2022’s Biggest Flops so far and the way out, of course…

Anrich Nortje’s return to the floor post his three-month lay-off due to a hip injury went terribly wrong.

The South Africa pacer, born on 16 November 1993 and currently in his 29th year, put up a horror and wayward show, playing his first match of the season for Delhi Capitals (DC) against Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG).

Result-Eventually he was dropped from the team and Khaleel Ahmed replaced him.

2. Manish Pandey(Lucknow SuperGiants)

In the first match, he flopped and just like the first match, Pandey disappointed in the second and third match too, against SRH and DC.

While Wade(Born on 26 December 1987 and presently in his 35th year), although has been okay behind the stumps, he has performed below par with the bat. He has been terrible with the willow.

This season, the Aussie so far has managed scores of 30, 1, 6 and 19 and this could very well be the final chance that the Australian wicketkeeper-batter gets.

4.Ruturaj Gaikwad(Chennai Super Kings)

Ruturaj Gaikwad, born on 31 January 1997 and currently in his 26th year, is struggling for runs in this IPL. Last year he was the top scorer, sealing the Orange Cap if you remember. This year, however, he has become a pale shadow of his former self.

The right-handed opener from Pune has managed to score just two runs from the first three matches of CSK, including being out for zero against LSG. His last two terrible performances are as follows: 16 and 17 which means, he got some starts, but then he failed to capitalize.

Against RCB, he looked set for something big, but later, he perished.

5.Vijay Shankar(Gujarat Titans)

Vijay Shankar born on 26 January 1991 and currently in his 32nd year, was picked by Gujarat Titans at a cost of INR 1.40 crore. However, the all-rounder couldn’t live up to the expectations of the team management.

The handy all rounder has to perform well for his side in the upcoming matches anyhow.

Final Thoughts:

“No matter how well you played earlier, no matter if your jersey color changed, no matter how you fared last time, no matter if you changed the spelling of your name…all that matters is the “Now”.

Actually, 80 percent of your performance always depends on your mindset, strategy, and execution. Only the remaining 20 percent depends on your luck”-Concludes Hirav Shah, India’s Most Influential Sports Astrologer and Strategist.
