The kind of madness that KGF Chapter 1 has created, such madness for its chapter 2 is expected. The killer action, larger-than-life scenes, a heart-touching drama, dashing entry & swag of ‘Rocky Bhai’ aka Rocking star Yash, and a lot more have become the talk of the town about the film since the trailer is out, says veteran Movie Analyst cum Business Transformation expert Hirav Shah.
The makers unveiled the theatrical trailer for Kannada star Yash’s upcoming action drama, KGF Chapter 2, a couple of weeks back. Being directed by Prashant Neel, the film is a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster actioner, KGF Chapter 1.
Shah points out that KGF 2 is set in Kolar Gold Fields back in the Narachi region; the trailer showcases the rule of Rocky Bhai in the KGF area after taking over the kingdom of KGF after finishing Garuda. How does a highly influential, powerful politician Ramika Sen ( Raveena Tandon) try to take over the KGF from the hands of Rocky Bhai? It is projected as the main theme in the trailer. A few glimpses show how Garuda’s brother Adheera( Sanjay Dutt), a deadly goon, tries to occupy the Narachi region. Will Rocky Bhai be able to fight against the political system and face off with dangerous Adheera? It is expected to be the main crux of the film. Most of the trailer explores Rocky Bhai’s heroism and gunfights with bloodshed all over, leaving the crore drama lightly. Will the second part of KGF become as big as the first installment? It remains to be seen.
Hirav Shah says, “As expected, the film’s first look will leave you craving for more, as it is full of eye-catching action. The clip is filled with an adrenaline rush and Ravi Basrur’s hair-raising background score. Every member, including Sanjay, Yash, and Raveena, gave their best and outstanding performance. Their strong dialogue delivers hints that the clash between them shall be vicious beyond everyone’s expectations. The trailer is loaded with various scenes that heighten the overall hype of the movie. The film looks to be full of guns, fights, and bloodshed, which might keep the family audiences a bit away.”
Other than being one of the most awaited films of this season, the madness of KGF 2 amongst the audience has increased since the trailer was launched. Moreover, the fandom of Rocking star Yash has ignited excitement among the audience like few films in Indian cinema before have, irrespective of any language. The anticipation has risen to the levels of the pre-release buzz of Baahubali 2, and the records can again see a measure of that that KGF Chapter 2’s teaser and trailer have both piled up.
Also starring Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead, KGF Chapter 2 is carrying high expectations among moviegoers across the country. While Prakash Raj and Rao Ramesh are showcased in key roles, KGF Chapter 2 is gearing up for an April 14th release amidst huge hype.
