During the COVID pandemic, paid subscribers of OTT platforms (Ex- Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar, etc. ) have increased rapidly. In recent days, a few movies have been directly released in OTTs. Moreover, more and more new OTT platforms are being launched, giving tough competition to theatres.
Celebrated Business Transformation Expert cum Astro Strategist Hirav Shah says, “Both theatre and OTT platforms have their pros and cons. OTT platforms have a lot of scope for growth. But that doesn’t mean that they can replace theatres. In the foreseeable future, both will stay and continue to entertain the audience.”

1) Looop Lapeta
Said to be an official remake of the 1998 released German film, Run Lola Run, Looop Lapeta is the story of a woman named Savi( Taapsee Pannu) who desperately tries to save her boyfriend Satya(Tahir Raj Bhasin) by procuring a large amount of money in a short time. In order to implement her plan of action, Savi leans towards multiple choices. What are those choices?; forms the main crux of the film. The movie is gearing up for a February 4 premiere exclusively on Netflix.
2) Gehraiyaan
Gehraiyaan showcases the lives of two couples amidst an extramarital affair. The film explores the romantic chemistry between Alisha( Deepika Padukone) and Zain(Siddharth Chaturvedi). How will the relationship between them turn mess? Forms the crucial crux. 3) Asur Season 2
