Live from Tampa Bay, Florida, the 55th Super Bowl kicks off on February 7. Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to become the first team to win a Super Bowl in their home city, but the Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints, and Green Bay Packers have plenty to say about that. 3. Marvel’s Black Widow Premieres

One of the most anticipated major motion pictures of the year, Marvel’s Black Widow and its $200 million budget is absolutely happening this year. Starring Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz, it’s going to be a smash hit one way or another. This should be one of the biggest box office hits for Marvel since .
4. Space Jam 2 Premieres
When this event is happening in 2021: July 16
Rumor has it that LeBron James is a serious method actor. He’s been playing basketball and winning NBA championships for years in order to prepare himself for the role. Space Jam’s new legacy is beginning this year, and we couldn’t be more excited for it to be happening in 2021.
5. Broadway’s Big Reopen
When this event is happening in 2021: May 30.
So here’s the deal, we’re optimistic that this major event will be happening in 2021 on May 30, but that’s not set in stone yet. Broadway has officially shut down until this date and is set to reopen May 30, but of course, that could be postponed. Fingers crossed this event takes place on its scheduled date.
6. XXXII Olympic Summer Games
When this event is happening in 2021: July 23 – August 8
One of the biggest events of the year last year that was postponed or cancelled, the Tokyo Summer Olympics will get back on track this year. Starting in July and running into August, they’re likely going to be one of the most-watched events of the year. Don’t miss them.
7. 16th UEFA European Championship
When this event is happening in 2021: June 11 – July 11
Another major event in 2021 that was postponed last year is the Euro Championship, featuring all of the best football talents in Europe. 24 teams will visit a total of 12 host countries this time around, with defending Champion Portugal looking for back to back championships.
8. The Friends Reunion
When this event is happening in 2021: Unknown, but Matthew Perry has suggested March
The unscripted special was originally going to be available at the launch of HBO Max in May 2020, but got delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. While we still don’t know when this reunion episode will take place, Chandler got ahead of himself and suggested it will be in March 2021. We will not be missing this major event.
9. Dune premieres
When this event is happening in 2021: October 1
Another major movie event taking place in 2021 is the making of Dune, as directed by Denis Villeneuve. This is sure to be a blockbuster, heading to IMAX and starring Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, the protagonist who leads nomadic tribes in a battle to control the desert planet Arrakis.
10. Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary

On October 1, 1971, Walt Disney World opened its gates to the public for the first time. Now, it’s time to look back and celebrate an amazing 50 year run with new rides, new attractions, parades, and plenty of celebrations.
