Bollywood is a strange place. A mysterious place. An enigmatic industry & a sometimes bizarre business, Opines Bollywood’s Most Sought After Film Strategist, Adviser & Astrologer, Hirav Shah.

There is no denying in the fact that like every other industry, Bollywood works on favoritism and nepotism in all its nooks and corners. Despite that, there still are some actors who manage to break through the industry on the basis of their immense talent and dedication alone. These actors come from nothing and get everything all thanks to their hard work and timing. It is these Bollywood inspirational struggle stories of actors that are admired by their fans.

But there are some actors who were, once upon a time admired by the public, but later on they failed, thus resulting in their downward fall.

But, these folks have the potential to “rise again” for sure…

Hirav Shah talks about 5 of them here.

1. Tusshar Kapoor

Birthdate of Tusshar Kapoor : 20 November 1976, currently in his 45th year.

Career of Tusshar Kapoor : Tusshar Kapoor was an acting sensation when he started off. He was damn popular. His notable works include Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai (2001), Khakee (2004), Kyaa Kool Hai Hum (2005), Dhol (2007), Shootout at Wadala (2013). He gained recognition for his role as Lucky in the Golmaal film series. But, post this there was a downfall in his career. His fame also slowly started declining.

Future of Tusshar Kapoor : Son of veteran actor Jeetendra, he is the founder and director of the production house, Tusshar Entertainment House. The debut film produced by his production house is Laxmmi Bomb. He also co-owned Balaji Telefilms and Balaji Motion Pictures from 2001 to 2019.

Tusshar has a knack for comedy and his timing is absolutely incredible. If he gets 4, 5 good comedy roles from Bollywood, he can definitely become a “comic sensation”.

2. Kumar Gaurav

Birth Date of Kumar Gaurav : 11 July 1960, currently in his 61st year.

Career of Kumar Gaurav : After debuting in Love Story (1981), Kumar Gaurav did a number of movies but couldn’t make a mark in the industry. Currently busy with his construction and travel business, the actor was last seen in Kaante (2002).

After his big Bollywood debut in Love Story (1981), Kumar Gaurav went on to do a number of movies but couldn’t make a mark in the industry. He also did some television and dubbing roles during that time but nothing could match his character of Bunty in Love Story. He was last seen in Kaante in 2002.

Future of Kumar Gaurav : Though Kumar Gaurav is currently busy with his business, he can surely pull off the toughest character roles, if they come now, from the OTTs. After all, he is a gem of an actor.

3.Rahul Roy

Birth Date of Rahul Roy : 9 February 1968, currently in his 54th year.

Career of Rahul Roy : Apart from Aashiqui, he is best remembered for his appearance in TV reality show, Bigg Boss in 2006. He tried a lot to make a comeback into films but he could not. His timing was not proper, also the scripts he had received lacked that punch.

Future of Rahul Roy : Recently, he starred in a few films named Cabaret and Agra. And lately, he was working for a web series namely LAC – Live The Battle, where he fell ill and had to be hospitalised. We just hope that he recovers really fast and does what he does best- “Acting”.

4. Zayed Khan

Birth Date of Zayed Khan : 5 July 1980, currently in his 41st year.

Career of Zayed Khan : Son of actor Sanjay Khan, Zayed Khan made his acting debut with Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne in 2003. He was not only nominated for this movie but was also offered a role opposite Shahrukh Khan and Sushmita Sen in Farah Khan’s Main Hoon Na (2004). However, even after doing many movies he is best remembered for the song, ‘mohabbat hai mirchi’ and his long hair look in Main Hoon Na. He was last seen in Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene in 2015.

Future of Zayed Khan : He was wonderful on TV with Haasil in 2017-2018. He just needs to choose his projects well, the stories well, the scripts well. Zayed has potential. He can still do well on films or tv or OTT provided the right stuff comes to him.

5. Fardeen Khan

Birth Date of Fardeen Khan : 8 March 1974, currently in his 48th year.

Career of Fardeen Khan : Fardeen Khan was a sensational star in the late 90s. After winning the Filmfare Best Debut Award for Prem Aggan in 1998, Fardeen Khan actually did some good movies like Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, All The Best – Fun Begins and Heyy Babyy. He was last seen in Dulha Mil Gaya (2010) opposite Sushmita Sen and Ishita Sharma.

Future of Fardeen Khan : Lately, speculation arose that he may be planning a comeback to acting after being spotted outside the office of film director Mukesh Chhabra. Chhbra later confirmed that the two were exploring opportunities and that they would begin working on a new project in 2021. We just hope Fardeen does some meaty roles for OTTs and Cinemas.
